Volunteers’ hard work and dedication are able to provide continuous support to foster children every year.
Volunteer
If you have a special skill or talent or simply the desire to help, I Believe The Children Are Our Future needs volunteers for the following:
Administrative
Assist with front office duties, such as answering calls, organizing the meetings and events, and filing.
Marketing
Assist with developing a media campaign to expose the organization's to an outside audience. Promoting the organization's ideals and causes to get the attention of potential volunteers and donors.
Mentors
We need active mentors, who are constantly doing fun stuff with the foster kids. We want our foster kids to feel like they are at Disney World as much as possible, while they are with I Believe the Children Are Our Future. This consist of playing board games, playing a variety of sports with them, taking them on a variety of field trips multiple times a month, that mentors also get to enjoy for free as well. We need mentors to help kids daily on their weak areas in school. Also, being able to transport them from school after practice, or any extracurricular activities they may be in, i.e., martial arts, boxing, etc. Showing up to their games or competitions for support. Our goal is to keep the kids as active as possible so they can have fun and positive memories in foster care. What kid don't want to go to State Park attractions, or to the amusement park as much as possible. Foster Kids deserve this and much more. This is the real work, because activities builds confidence, and positive behavior, even when you are in a difficult situation.
